Bushwakka Adventure Gear PTY LTD provides the official manufacturer’s warranty for all Bushwakka products. As a reseller, Zone Offroad does not assess or process warranty claims, but we will assist with proof of purchase if required.

Structural Warranty
Awnings

Bushwakka awnings include a 12-month manufacturing warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of dispatch.

Warranty does not cover incorrect use, incorrect mounting, or normal wear and tear.

Wind-related damage is not covered — awnings must not be opened in strong wind or adverse weather.
Roof Top Tents (RTT)

Warranty applies to manufacturing defects only.

Incorrect installation, overloading, or use of non-approved brackets may void the warranty.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Rights
In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, customers have rights under the Australian Consumer Law:

Major failure: Bushwakka may replace or refund the product.

Minor issues: Bushwakka will provide a suitable remedy to keep the product in a safe, usable condition.
ACL rights cannot be excluded.
Zone Offroad will provide proof of purchase to assist if Bushwakka requests it during a claim.
Warranty Conditions
Correct mounting with load-rated brackets is required. Approved options include:

Supplied brackets (included with the product)

Bushwakka heavy-duty adjustable T-brackets

Brackets listed in Bushwakka’s official Fitting Advice
Bushwakka may deny a claim if the product was not mounted using appropriately load-rated or approved systems.
General Care Guidelines
To maximise the life of your awning or RTT:

Fully open zippers before closing the bag
-
Roll the canvas tightly to avoid rubbing and wear
-
Apply lanolin spray to brackets and metal parts to reduce surface rust
-
Reproof canvas as needed to maintain waterproofing

Check all bolts regularly, especially after off-road travel
-
Allow the canvas to fully dry before storage to prevent mould
RTT Installation Notice
If you choose to self-install your Roof Top Tent, any damage resulting from improper installation will not be covered under warranty.
Bushwakka recommends installation by a qualified professional.
Zone Offroad offers installation services for Bushwakka products.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Wind damage or adverse weather damage

Incorrect mounting or the use of non-approved brackets
-
Improper installation, over-tightening, or unauthorised modifications
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Mould, mildew, or damage from incorrect storage or moisture
-
Environmental damage (insects, animals, salt exposure, UV)
-
Accidental damage or misuse
-
Legislative changes after the product was manufactured
-
Costs associated with repairs (accommodation, relocation, fuel, freight, lost income, downtime)
-
Removal and reinstallation costs — these are the claimant’s responsibility
Bushwakka recommends insuring freight for returns, as they are not liable for freight loss or damage.
Warranty Claim Process
To lodge a warranty claim with Bushwakka:

Call (07) 5515 7912 – Extension #3 as soon as the issue is noticed.

Bushwakka will issue a Ticket Number and advise next steps.

Claims are typically reviewed within 14 business days.

Bushwakka will provide a final decision regarding repair, replacement, or rejection of the claim.
If you purchased your product through Zone Offroad, Bushwakka may request proof of purchase — we can provide this upon request.
Replacement Parts
Bushwakka supplies replacement parts for most current models. Availability for older models may vary.
